Korean-Style Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread, lightly toasted
  • 8 slices Armstrong Monterey Jack with Jalapeno
  • 4 fried eggs
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) kimchi, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons (10 mL) toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons (10 mL) Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) cucumber slices

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler. Top each slice of bread with 2 slices of Armstrong Monterey Jack with Jalapeno cheese; broil for 1 or 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
  2. Top each sandwich with a fried egg, kimchi, sesame seeds and hot sauce. Serve with cucumber slices.

 

*Add ham, bacon or peameal bacon for a more decadent breakfast sandwich.
