Korean-Style Breakfast Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

4 slices whole wheat bread, lightly toasted
8 slices Armstrong Monterey Jack with Jalapeno
4 fried eggs
1/3 cup (75 mL) kimchi, finely chopped
2 teaspoons (10 mL) toasted sesame seeds
2 teaspoons (10 mL) Sriracha hot sauce
1/2 cup (125 mL) cucumber slices


DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat broiler. Top each slice of bread with 2 slices of Armstrong Monterey Jack with Jalapeno cheese; broil for 1 or 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
     
  • Top each sandwich with a fried egg, kimchi, sesame seeds and hot sauce. Serve with cucumber slices.



Add ham, bacon or peameal bacon for a more decadent breakfast sandwich.
